Soldier left to die in street after hit and run

Another soldier has been charged for vehicular homicide and drunk driving.

CLARKSVILLE, TENN. — A soldier was found dead from a hit and run Saturday morning on Tylertown Road.

At about 5:10 a.m., a citizen walking to work on Tylertown near Roscommon Way found the man dead on the side of the road, according to a news release from Clarksville Police spokeswoman Natalie Hall.

Responding officers determined the soldier had been hit by a vehicle that left the scene.
