Five Fort Carson soldiers injured in crash

FORT CARSON, Colo. — Fort Carson says two soldiers injured in a rollover crash during a training exercise are in serious condition at civilian hospitals.

The post said Wednesday the other three soldiers have been released from medical care.

Five Fort Carson soldiers were injured Wednesday morning when the vehicle they were in during a training exercise rolled over about 15 miles south of the quarters portion of Fort Carson.
Their conditions were not released.

LAWTON, Okla. — Officials at Fort Sill say about 20 soldiers were injured when the five-ton truck they were in rolled over.

A statement from the base says none of the injuries are considered life-threatening — although one soldier was flown to an Oklahoma City hospital.

The soldiers with the 3rd Battalion, 378th Regiment, were hurt about 3 p.m. Wednesday when the truck rolled as the driver tried to avoid an animal.

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — The Army is investigating a wreck that injured nine soldiers when the truck taking them to a training area rolled over on a Fort Bragg road.
