Obama, Edwards, Biden and Dodd, senators and congressmen are suddenly talking about PTSD and homeless veterans. My question to all of them is "Where the hell have you been all this time?"
Didn't the letters advocates sent you over the last twenty years enter into your brain cells? Did you think this was suddenly a problem? Where were all of these concerns and face time with the media when they were coming home from Vietnam, the Gulf War of Iraq and Afghanistan all this time? You had to wait until it is catastrophic? Or was it that you waited for the media to start paying attention to it? Dummies! You could have been ahead of all of this, sounding the alarms long ago. You would have been a hero to all veterans across this nation and to every man and woman serving today. Now all of you are scrambling to suck off the media's attention for your own gratification instead of because it's the right thing to do. Well here's your chance at redemption.
SLAP BUSH WITH AN EMERGENCY SPENDING BILL FOR THEM!
After all, hasn't he done it enough to make sure they keep risking their lives? If you think providing weapons and supplies for 160,000 in Iraq is a crisis along with about 20,000 in Afghanistan, you ain't seen nothing yet! We have a lot more combat veterans needing to be treated for what all of you made sure was funded.
