Police ask for help identifying woman hit by bus
LARGO -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who was killed by a car after getting off a PSTA bus on Monday.

The woman got off a PSTA bus about 7 p.m. and crossed south to north near 7360 Ulmerton Road (near Belcher Road).

She was not in a crosswalk but made it to the median when a 2005 Honda Civic hit her. The driver was uninjured; the woman was killed.

Police say they have exhausted efforts to identify her and are now turning to the public. They described her as a white female in her 60s. She is 5'3" and weighs about 110 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. She was walking with a metallic red walker with wheels with a gray milk crate attached to the top. She was wearing a blue shirt and multi-colored bleach-stained boxer shorts, police said.

Anyone with information about her identity is asked to call the Largo Police Department's Traffic Homicide Unit at (727)587-6730.
