Marine reservist found shot to death in Mexico

EL PASO, Texas — A U.S. Marine Corps reservist has been shot to death in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, the Marine Corps confirmed Wednesday.
Lance Cpl. Gustavo Zubia Lopez, 20, was found dead Friday in the violence-plagued border city across the Rio Grande from El Paso, said Capt. Nathan Braden, a Marine spokesman with Marine Forces Reserve Public Affairs in New Orleans.
Alejandro Pariente, a spokesman for the state prosecutor's office in Juarez, said Wednesday that Zubia was shot and thrown from a cliff along with 21-year-old Victor Delgado Fernandez.
