Florida Veterans For McCain spins his record

I just read this lengthy claim from Florida Veterans for McCain. Too bad it's spin and nothing more. It mentions that McCain came up with a bill for GI education benefits but did not mention the fact that his bill was only after the fact he came out publicly against the GI Bill by Jim Webb and was backed by almost every other senator but McCain said it was "too generous" and would harm recruitment, even though every expert said it would not. It also says that McCain is against privatizing the VA but with his "card" so that veterans can get healthcare elsewhere, that is exactly what this will do. It avoids the fact that McCain wants non-combat veterans treated like a sub-class of veterans. Simply put, if you look up McCain's disgraceful record on veterans, you can plainly see that McCain does not and has not supported veterans. His record speaks louder than his baseless claims do. It's all public record and his POW-veteran status should have produced an advocate for veterans instead of an advisory against them. Veterans and their families should hold McCain to a higher standard when considering to support him or not because he has not supported us. The major veterans service groups have failed McCain on his record for a reason.
