The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 25-year-old man early Saturday in a holding cell at the Snohomish County Jail.

The man was arrested Friday night in Monroe and was found unresponsive in a cell at the Everett jail at 4:25 a.m. Saturday, according to the Sheriff's Office. The man could not be revived by CPR and was pronounced dead a short time later.

An autopsy will be performed by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner to determine the cause of the man's death.

The man, whose name was not released Monday, was pulled over while driving Friday night after making a turn without using a signal, according to Monroe police spokeswoman Debbie Willis.
