PALM BAY, Fla. — Despite rumors to the contrary, Army veteran Jerry Miller is still very much alive.

"I'm alive. I’m very alive," Miller told WESH 2 News.

Miller, a former drill sergeant, served 10 years in the Army. He said he lives on a government pension and Social Security.

  1. Are they really serious??? I have dealt with unbelievable frustration and error--haven't we all?--on the part of the VA, but WTF? WHere does it end? please don't let this man lose his home & benefits.

  2. There have been stories like this happening all over the country for years. The difference is, they were fixed and then the stress was over with. The veterans were not threatened over and over again with the loss of their compensation and what they already paid for with their service. It is a shocking story.
