CLARKSVILLE, TENN. — UPDATE, 5:55 p.m.: The Army today provided more details on the soldier killed Thursday in Clarksville, and on the suspected assailant, also a soldier.
The victim, Sgt. 1st Class Frederic N. Moses, 26, and the suspect, Sgt. Benjamin Schweitzer, were both assigned to 5th Special Forces Group at Fort Campbell, according to a news release from Army Special Forces.
Schweitzer was charged today by Tennessee Bureau of Investigation with criminal homicide.
