Navy commander dies in Bahrain

NAPLES, Italy — A 49-year-old Navy commander died Friday while serving in Bahrain, according to the Department of Defense.
Cmdr. Joel Del Mundo Tiu, of Manila, Philippines, died from non-combat related injuries. He was assigned to U.S. Naval Forces Central Command logistics forces in Manama, according to a Defense Department news release.
