Hood soldier killed in shooting outside house

KILLEEN, Texas — A Fort Hood solider was shot to death and another was injured during a fight outside a Killeen home.
Killeen police say 22-year-old Jamie Lee Schnider died after he was shot Thursday night. A 21-year-old Fort Hood soldier whose name was not released was also shot. He was taken to an area hospital where he remained in stable condition.

KILLEEN - One soldier is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting in Killeen.
Officers received a call about shots being fired, and responded to a home at the intersection of Purser Drive and Holbert Drive just before 11 p.m., Thursday.
When they arrived, they found one male lying lifeless in the front yard. He's been identified as a 22-year-old Fort Hood soldier. Judge Garland Potvin pronounced the victim deceased at 11:37 p.m. His name is being withheld until next of kin is notified.
