Woman survives suicide attempt at the US Mint at West Point

WEST POINT - Police in Orange County are investigating an apparent suicide attempt at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Police say a woman who was upset over her marriage went to her husband's job at the U.S. Mint at West Point around noon today. Investigators say she then attempted to commit suicide by stabbing herself in the parking lot.

  1. The reason she did, it was because of her husband. After many years of marriage, he deciede to have an affair at his job with an young woman, and never had the decency of informing his beautiful, faithful, and supportive wife.

  2. That is so sad. Most people commit suicide because they run out of hope. It is terrible when we treat someone as if they are not worth caring about at all.
    I hope she recovers soon. We can't control what other people "do to us" but if we look hard, there are a lot more people doing "for us" instead.
