Oct 27 in Washington DC.  The Marathon (6.2 miles for us non-runners!)  is a very prestigious event that starts in the nation's capital and treats runners to a tour of iconic landmarks before heading back into Arlington, VA, and finishing at the Marine Corps War Memorial.  This year the available spaces sold out in 2 hours, 27 minutes.  Our local group also raises funds to assist a local wounded warrior.  If you can help thru sponsorship please contact me for addition information.
