CSPAN: Obama Signs new VA bill

Nice speeches but we've heard it all before. Nice thoughts but as soon as the press stops watching, they let it all fall apart until the next time they are forced to do something. As for "transparency" we can see right through them and know no one will really be held accountable for any of what Congress let happen.

We've already seen it all before! By the way, before President Obama was President, he was sitting on the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee.

Veterans Affairs Bill Signing

President Obama delivered remarks before signing H.R. 3230, the Veterans' Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act of 2014. The bill would allow veterans living more than 40 miles from a VA facility or those who have to wait more than 30 days for medical assistance to seek outside care. The legislation was also intended to overhaul the Department of Veterans Affairs by making it easier to fire senior VA executive for poor performance. President Obama urged the Senate to more speedily confirm new VA executives.

If your read Wounded Times, you know how bad it has been and for how long it has been that way. None of this is new and it has hardly improved.
