John McCain Gave Up on Veterans a Long Time Ago

I'm going to just put it bluntly. This man has been an elected official this long,
John was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from the First District of Arizona on an agenda of limited government and strong foreign policy. After two terms in the House, John was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1986, succeeding legendary Arizona Senator Barry Goldwater.
But in 2008 when he was running for the Presidency and he said this,
"I know the veterans, I know them well, and I know that they know that I'll take care of them, and I have been proud of their support and their recognition of my service to the veterans, and I love them, and I'll take care of them, and they know that I'll take care of them."
While most veterans knew the truth and stopped waiting for McCain to ever live up to all his words. And you can still read what was printed back in 2008 on the Huffington Post about what the real record veterans know McCain should be ashamed of.

Instead of asking for forgiveness for failing to make sure the VA worked for all veterans, he has blamed the VA ever since. Seems to me since he is a veteran, he'd actually do something honorable and admit that he has wanted to kill the VA for decades.
Actually he did. With ever crisis reported, McCain says send veterans away and let the public sector take care of the veterans congress created in the first place.
Oops, he did it again,
"Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, said the IG report is evidence that veterans should be able to get their health care needs met anywhere and not be tied to the VA system."

The evidence is that the House and Senate are in fact responsible for what the VA does and does not do and they have been all along but they don't want you to know that.
